Lizard Man of Scape Ore Swamp

Also called Lizard Man of Lee County

A green, scaly, 7-ft creature that clawed at a teenager's car in 1988.

Late on June 29, 1988, 17-year-old Christopher Davis stopped to change a tire near Scape Ore Swamp. He said a 7-ft, green, scaly creature with red eyes and three-fingered hands ran at him and clung to his car's roof as he drove away.
