Owlman

Also called Owlman of Mawnan

A feathered, owl-like figure seen over a Cornish churchyard in 1976.

In April 1976 two young sisters on holiday said they saw a large, feathered, man-like figure hovering over the tower of St Mawnan's church in Cornwall. More sightings followed that summer and in 1978.

The Owlman is often compared to Mothman: both are winged humanoids with glowing eyes, seen in a short burst of activity.
