Kelly-Hopkinsville Goblins

Also called Little green men, Kelly Little Green Men

The night a Kentucky farmhouse was besieged by small, glowing creatures.

On the night of August 21, 1955, the Sutton family of Kelly, Kentucky said small, silver-grey creatures with big ears and glowing eyes approached their farmhouse after a bright light landed nearby. The family fired guns at them for hours, then drove to the police station in Hopkinsville.

Police found bullet holes but no creatures. The case helped popularise the phrase "little green men", and Kelly holds a Little Green Men Days festival each August.
