Holy Trinity Church, Blythburgh (Black Shuck)

Blythburgh, England, United Kingdom

On 4 August 1577, during a violent storm, the black dog Black Shuck is said to have burst into this church and attacked the congregation, after killing two people at Bungay church 12 miles away the same morning. Scorch-like marks on the north door are still linked to the legend.
