Milton, West Virginia
Melzar Braley, about twenty, said he heard a sheep bleating from a cave on Big Two Mile Creek and found a black-and-yellow striped serpent about 40 feet long swallowing it. He rolled a boulder down on it, and it let the sheep go and slid out of the cave hissing.
