Plattsburgh, New York
Two travelling salesmen from Albany and Troy, sitting on the veranda of the Fouquet House, saw the calm bay suddenly churn 200 feet out. Part of a huge, arched, porpoise-shaped body at least 100 feet long showed for a moment, and both said they became believers.
