Sixes, Oregon
Miners on the Sixes River said the hairy wild man they had long feared was back, seen three times in a month. At night it shook the corner of one cabin and the door of another, and a miner named Ward fired at it as it walked away and missed.

Belgian F-16 scramble
Wavre, Belgium
At the height of the Belgian UFO wave, thousands of people reported dark triangles with lights. On the night of March 30, two F-16s were scrambled after ground radar tracked unknowns; the pilots got brief radar locks on targets that changed speed and altitude abruptly.
